Courtney Dauwalter’s speedy attempt at the Colorado Trail + 7 other links

In honor of Bob Marley’s 75th birthday this year and of International Reggae Day (which was July 1), we now have an official video for No Woman, No Cry (video)

Courtney Dauwalter started Wednesday at about 2 p.m. on an attempt at the Fastest Known Time on the Colorado Trail—she has to beat the previous mark of 8 days and 30 minutes (if my math is correct, she’ll have to finish by approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 13). You can follow her progress here.

I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude this year, when my universe has shrunk considerably, but I still have so much to be thankful for, and re-reading this reminds me of that.

And hey: These Friday Inspiration posts are able to continue thanks to the handful of wonderful people who back Semi-Rad on Patreon for as little as $1 a month.
